Tryouts for Ajax New Amsterdam Boys U9 Select Team. Give your young athlete the chance to thrive with Ajax New Amsterdam’s U9 Select Team Tryouts. Players will experience technical training drills and an open play environment. We hope to select ~25 players to fill 2 u9 teams for the Fall Season.

About the Tryouts:
Ajax New Amsterdam’s U9 Select Team Tryouts are designed to identify and develop young athletes who are ready to take their soccer journey to the next level. Players will participate in a dynamic and structured session that focuses on technical drills, small-sided games, and situational exercises aimed at showcasing their skill, decision-making, and adaptability. Coaches will be evaluating individual performance across key areas, including ball control, passing accuracy, spatial awareness, and competitive mindset.
What to Expect:
Warm-Up and Coordination Drills: A high-energy start to get players loose and focused.
Technical Skill Stations: Small-group activities to assess ball mastery and first-touch control.
Tactical Awareness Drills: Game-like scenarios to test positional awareness and game intelligence.
